OrionX · Gaborone, Botswana
Unleash theAfrican imagination.
OrionX is building the African Intelligence Stack, the intelligence infrastructure people, organisations and nations can build on.
One system designed to make intelligence something Africa can increasingly own, shape and create with.
01 · Why we exist
Africa should not have to rent its imagination.
Every major technological layer shapes what can be built above it.
If the intelligence layer is built entirely somewhere else, optimised around somebody else’s context, languages, institutions and economics, Africa remains downstream of one of the most consequential technologies of our time.
02 · What we are building
The African Intelligence Stack
03 · Azania
Knowledge before intelligence.
African data does not become useful intelligence merely because a model can access it.
Azania prepares African data into intelligence-ready African data that Uhuru can reason with.
04 · How we think
We connect things that are usually kept apart.
Some of our most useful ideas begin when two unrelated things turn out not to be unrelated at all.
05 · Where we build from
Gaborone, Botswana.
We build from African realities and work across borders, industries and institutions.
06 · What success looks like
Not that everyone uses OrionX.
That more Africans can create companies, institutions, research, technologies, art, systems and possibilities because the intelligence infrastructure underneath them exists.
